Who is Bonzeye Bonny?
Bonzeye Bonny (she/her) loves the color turquoise, the ocean, springtime, birds, dogs, and ice cream.
In addition to being an writer and an artist, she is a language teacher (English and Spanish).
BB has lived in half a dozen countries from Morocco to Laos to Costa Rica, but Mexico feels like a second home because she has spent so much time there.
Her lifelong passions include language, art, history, public radio, and animals, but it’s hard to find anything BB’s not interested in learning more about.
Currently, BB lives just north of Chicago where she grew up.
If she’s not reading a graphic novel, making a collage, hiking with her dogs, or cooking, she’s probably working on illustrations or writing new stories.
